Scope of Warranty

At Truepower, we are committed to delivering reliable and high-quality power solutions. Our products are manufactured with strict quality standards and are backed by a manufacturer warranty designed to ensure customer confidence and product reliability.

  • This Warranty Policy outlines the terms, coverage, and procedures for claiming warranty service on Truepower products.
  • Automatic Termination: This warranty expires automatically after the duration specified in the warranty card carrying the serial number of the said unit, regardless of whether the product was in active use during that period or not.

Registration Requirement

Validity is contingent upon either:

  • The online registration of the product by the customer or
  • The submission of the physical warranty card, duly signed and stamped by an authorized dealer, to the Company.

Service and Logistics

In the event of a verified defect within the warranty period (provided the unit was used within prescribed specifications), the Company or its authorized service center will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective components or the unit.

  • Location of Service: The Company reserves the right to determine the location of repair (on-site, service center, or factory).
  • Freight & Risk: All costs associated with the transport of the unit (to and fro) shall be borne by the purchaser. The purchaser assumes all risk of loss or damage during transit.
  • In the event of a claim, the purchaser must provide the following, in the absence of which the Company reserves the right to deny warranty service: The Original Tax Invoice (Proof of Purchase), clearly showing the date of purchase, the dealer’s details, and the serial number of the unit. The Warranty Card (duly filled and stamped) or proof of Online Registration.
  • Property Rights: Any defective unit or part replaced under this warranty becomes the sole property of the Company; no scrap rebate will be provided for replaced items.

Product Delivery & Transit Damage (Unboxing Requirement)

  • To protect against transit damage or missing components, the purchaser must record a continuous, unedited unboxing video of the product starting from the moment the courier's outer seal/packaging is intact until the unit is fully revealed and inspected.
  • Timeframe: Any claim for physical damage or "Dead on Arrival" (DOA) must be reported within 24 hours of delivery, supported by the unboxing video.
  • Validation: In the absence of a clear unboxing video showing the damage, the Company reserves the right to reject claims for physical breakage or missing parts, as these will be attributed to post-delivery mishandling.

Exclusions (What Is Not Covered Under Warranty)

The warranty shall be rendered null and void if:

  • Installation Procedure: If procedure / installation advised in the manual are not followed
  • Unauthorized Tampering: The original seal is broken, or the serial number/manufacturing code has been tampered with, overwritten, or removed.
  • External Factors: Damage is caused by lightning, fire, flood, "Acts of God," household pests, or exposure to abnormal environmental conditions (e.g., extreme salinity or corrosive atmospheres)
  • Electrical Misuse: Damage results from faulty external electrical systems, incorrect voltage input, or improper handling by unauthorized auto-electricians.
  • Physical Abuse: The unit shows signs of mechanical shock, hammering, or breakage of the cabinet.
  • Unauthorized Service: Any repair or internal inspection is carried out by an agency or person not authorized by Indo Solar Systems LLP.

Products with tampered serial numbers or removed warranty labels will not be eligible for warranty service.

Installation Responsibility

Truepower products should be installed by qualified technicians or authorized service professionals.

Improper installation may lead to product malfunction and may void warranty coverage.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that installation follows the guidelines provided in the product manual.

Service and Repair

If a product issue falls within the warranty coverage, the product will be repaired or serviced without additional cost for the covered components.

In some cases, customers may be required to send the product to an authorized service center for inspection and repair.

Transportation or service charges may apply depending on the location and nature of the service request.

Out-of-Warranty Service

If a product issue occurs outside the warranty period or falls outside warranty coverage, repair services may still be available at applicable service charges.

Customers will be informed about the repair cost before any service is performed.

Limitation of Liability

  • Liability Exclusion: In no event shall Indo Solar Systems LLP, its distributors, or dealers be liable for any injury, disability, or death caused to any form of life, or damage to property, arising from the use or failure of the product.
  • Consequential Loss: The Company is not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, downtime, data, equipment or expenses incurred by the user due to product failure.

Truepower shall not be liable for any consequential damages arising from product usage.

International & Legal

  • International Customers: For units sold outside India, all warranty obligations are to be managed and borne by the respective country’s authorized distributor.
  • Jurisdiction: All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.
